Last night, in the heart of Nicosia, we experienced a truly special moment.The documentary When the Swallows Fall Silent, directed by Constantinos Patsalides, was screened at the Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus in Faneromeni, for a charitable cause: to support families in need.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Regional Primary School of Tamasos and to the D1 class teacher, Annita Pampaka, for the invitation to screen our short film 30, which tells the story of a mother searching for her son during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
We had an excellent meeting with François-Xavier Bellamy, the European Parliament’s Rapporteur on the Missing Persons of Cyprus, and we are truly grateful for his warm and thoughtful response.
