The screening was followed by a thoughtful discussion on memory, identity, cultural heritage, urban transformation and the future of European neighbourhoods. What began as a documentary screening soon evolved into a broader exchange of ideas about the challenges facing contemporary cities: social cohesion, migration, gentrification, community life and the importance of preserving the human dimension of heritage.

Europe's next classroom

The European Conference on Education and Sustainable Development, brought together ministers, European policymakers, representatives of major international organisations and leading academic institutions from across Europe. Among the participants were representatives from the Ministries of Education of Cyprus and Albania, the European Commission (DG Education and Culture), UNECE, UNESCO and the European Training Foundation - key actors shaping European educational policy, sustainability strategies and future funding priorities. Today we had the opportunity to interview inspiring voices from across Europe.
